How we get there
- Insights mining
We comb through research findings and identify all the factors that may influence a patient’s ability to make informed health decisions. These factors may be cultural, educational, or cognitive. Or they may be internally driven (eg, a patient’s motivation to manage his or her condition), externally driven (eg, the healthcare provider’s beliefs about treatment options), or even condition specific or treatment specific (eg, concerns about condition symptoms vs treatment side effects)
- Experience mapping
We create a model that shows the key phases of the patient experience, the interplay between the different influences, and their possible impact on the patient’s decision. This model allows us to pinpoint the greatest opportunities for educating the patient
- Creating a strategic plan
Working from the patient experience map and our client's objectives, we craft a plan that allows our client to educate both patients and healthcare providers in the most effective and complementary ways
